Stuka!
After having a ball at Stjørdal last Friday with about six people in the audience, things could only get better the next day when heading for Sauøy. It`s the third time Little Andrew visits Sauøy and this place is just amazing. We arrived as usually with the speedboat after 1 ½ hour trip out in the sea, this time with Påls son Andreas as crew member. Tommy and Heidi welcomed us at the pier, but this time only Pål were allowed to walk across the new bridge. Pål helped building the bridge so Little Andrew, Andreas, Kåre and Frank had to get over to the island by a small boat. So they did! After getting onto the island they were now a part of the visitors again, though they were gonna play there.
As always after the first note the crowed goes crazy, tearing the boathouse down. In the middle og the show Pål put on some traditional Kirgisistan clothes making people know that he knows how to play balalaika, what a moment. After a couple of extra songs we ended it and went for Sauøys and Heidis famous fish burgers. Yammy! The night did not stop after the fish burger, but that is an another story….  No place in

Hi folks!
Tuesday we played at Lanternen Pub in Harstad. This place is one of the smallest places we have ever played.Using just our monitors as PA, we sounded as loud as we should. Doing a gig in the middle of the week is not always the easiest thing to do. We start our gig early in the evening and there`s not always a lot of people in the audience. But, this tuesday turned out to be a very good day for us. We played well and there were about 25 people inside the pub that played along very well! Some of Andreas` and KÃ¥res family showed up dancing and shouting. Thanks!
Wednesday we drove for Bjerkvik and our gig at Garasjen Pub. This place is built as a garage and looks cool with autoparts hanging from the roof. Some other part of Andreas` family (yeah, he`s got a big family) and PÃ¥ls former bandmates showed up on the gig at Garasjen Pub. With them and about twenty others there were enough people in the pub to rock n` roll thru the night. So we all did!
After almost one week in the van our humor can drop to a rock bottom level. That happend on Thursday. Before entering Bal Kroa in Ballangen we had to sit in the van for abour five minutes laughing before we even tried to set a foot outside. You might be asking your self what this is all about, just four guys driving a van for several hours and no women to correct them… Well. We entered Bal Kroa and put up our gear doing our gig as we have done for almost a week. The staff at Bal Kroa was fantastic. They even made some food for us before driving to Kjøpsvik later that night! Thank you all!
Friday we had the time to relax in Kjøpsvik before the gig at Kjøpsvik Blues Klubb later that day. It felt good to catch some sleep after doing late night gigs and getting up early in the morning driving for the next destination. We rocked Walters Kro later that night. People dancing in front AND upon the stage with us. Andreas even had women gently touching him while singing, something Frank disliked and asked them to get of stage…lol! We hope Kjøpsvik Blues Klubb liked our apperance and would like to have us back!
Saturday we headed for Svolvær in Lofoten and Anker Brygge. This small city in Lofoten is just amazing. With mountains on the sides and the sea below this place make you wanna sit and steer for hours. But, we had no time for steering. With only a couple of hours to put up the PA and eat, we had to start doing what we came to do. We started playing our gig at 11pm and as we started the people in the club was already at the dance floor shaking their hips. After three times fourthyfive minutes of playing we finished with King Of Nothing and ended the show with the audience begging for more. So we did. We ended The Arctic Tour 2008 with Tell Me and everybody went home and into their beds, hopefully.
Hope everybody that came to see us during this tour had a ball and that you all will come next time and please bring your friends. Thanks for supporting us!After getting back home Little Andrew have to say that this tour was a succes for the band.
Freddy Iversen in Arctic Music has done a absolute fantastic job putting this tour together for us. We owe him a lot!

Here we go again!Thursday March 27th we started our trip heading for Northern Norway. After ten hours on the train from Trondheim to Fauske we took the buss to Drag and picked up the tourbus heading straight for Melbu Blues Club. They got a great place out there on the pier, an old house they used to deliever fish. After doing our sound check we knew that this would be a great night with great people. Around 11pm we started rockin` the house. People started dancing, the band jumpin` and it all turned out to be a good place to start our tour.
The next day we headed for Fauske. In Northern Norway it`s not just an hour drive to get from one place to another. Driving, boat, drving, boat and driving again. But that does not stop Little Andrew. We love to see people have a great time and that`s something we could see in the eyes of the crowd in Fauske. The President of Fauske Blues Club Wiggo Bjur left the club with a big smile on his face, so did the band. This was one of the best gigs we have had. You can read the review in Avisa Nordland. Thanks to Wiggo and the rest of the people in the club for having us. Little Andrew hope to be back!
To day we did something we have never did before. Playing six o`clock blues for kids at Kjøpsvik Blues Club. 60 kids packed in front of the stage playing along. KÃ¥re had Kaia playing the drums and Andreas let Jørgen come up and play guitar. This is something we would like to do again. Let kids know what the blues is about and let them come see blues live rather than just listen to it on the stereo. Little Andrew would like to say “Thank You” to all the kids and their parents for showing up on a rainy Monday! We`ll play again in Kjøpsvik on Friday.
Tomorrow we`ll play at Laternen Pub in Harstad. If you wanna see us live you know were to show up!

Folks!
March 22 we played at the Easter Extravaganza at Hareid and it was a great night. There could have been some more people at the show, but those who were there had a ball! We did 90 minutes of blues and rock n` roll and after us Wild Cats entered the stage rockin` alll through the night. Hope to be back there rockin` again soon!
